Women Sing The Blues is a compilation of outstanding blues artists featuring Angela Brown, Connie Lush, Cookie McGee, Dana Gillespie, Sam Payne and Joan Baby recorded live in concert by Blues Archive during the 1990's.

Angela Brown - Chicago blues singer Angela Brown is considered one of the best blues singers of her generation, Angela has a superb voice that is equally at ease with classic as well as modern blues. 

Connie Lush - Connie Lush is one of the finest British blues singers who combines her mesmerising stage presence with an amazing voice. A truly spellbinding blues singer.

Cookie McGee - Cookie learned to play guitar from her Dallas neighbours, Freddie King and Bugs Henderson and performs with a solid Texas sound.

Dana Gillespie - British blues singer, Dana Gillespie follows in the footsteps of the great female blues singers singing humorous risqué-blues inspired by Bessie Smith.

Sam Payne - British singer-songwriter and Boogie-Woogie piano player draws of the old blues styles whilst taking the music forward.

Joan Baby - Singer, bassist and band leader from Chicago entertains with sassy, funky blues sounds and driving rhythms with a thoroughly modern approach to the blues.
